AI Marketing Investments Increasing In 2025 As Benefits Becoming More Critical

AI’s impact on marketing is undeniable, and CoSchedule’s recent State of AI in Marketing 2025 report only reinforces how impactful it has been (with 85% of marketers using AI tools for content creation) and how impactful it promises to be (with 25.6% already reporting their AI-generated content to be more successful than content created without AI).

In fact, almost 9 out of every 10 marketing professionals surveyed plan on increasing their AI use in the next 2-3 years, with 59.32% saying they plan on increasing their AI investments.

“When combining those responses with those surveyed who see an equal amount of success with AI content, 64% of marketers indicate that AI-generated content performs as well as or better than manually created content,” the report says. “Based on these findings, AI is not just a tool for efficiency — it’s becoming a critical asset for producing successful, impactful marketing content at scale.”

 

AI’s Role in Modern Marketing

Almost three-quarters (74.6%) of those surveyed feel AI has given them and their marketing strategies a competitive advantage, including 28.24% who report their edge to be “significantly enhanced.” Of the top benefits felt, 79.05% said increased efficiency, 55.05% said scale content output, and 43.46% said cost reduction.

“These benefits reflect AI’s critical role in not only enhancing the effectiveness of marketing campaigns but also in optimizing resource allocation and expenditure,” the report says. “Marketers are effectively using AI to craft more targeted strategies, understand customer nuances, and ultimately achieve higher engagement and conversion rates.”
